Tuition Deadlines

Registration fee and deposits are due at the time of registration. The remaining tuition and fees will be split into two payments and processed on April 10 and May 11. Housing is a separate fee and includes a single room, three meals a day, daily transportation, and planned activities.

Accounts not paid in full by May 15 are subject to a $100 late fee. The payment plan requires automatic billing.

Scholarship & Financial Aid Information

Merit Scholarships: Atlanta Ballet offers a limited number of merit scholarships to students at the discretion of the artistic staff. Merit scholars will be notified of their award in their audition results. There is no application process for a merit scholarship award.

Financial Aid
: Atlanta Ballet also offers limited need-based tuition aid to summer intensive students attending the full five-week program. Students may apply for financial assistance after acceptance into the program. If financial aid is granted, students must register by the specified deadline, or the award will be forfeited. Financial aid recipients will receive an adjusted payment plan once funds are applied. Please contact Ansilla Bearden for an application.

*Awarded funds may only be applied to tuition. Housing are not eligible for aid.

AB Summer Activity

Summer Housing and Meals

Chaperoned room & board is available to students ages 12 and up for an additional fee. The housing package includes a private single room, daily transportation to the studio by chartered bus, three meals per day, in-house activities, and off-campus excursions.

Students electing the housing option will reside on the prestigious Georgia Tech campus. Each student is assigned a private bedroom in a peer-shared four-bedroom apartment with at least 1 – 2 assigned chaperones also residing on each floor. Security officers are on site in the dorm each evening.

*Students 18 and older who reside in the housing must abide by Atlanta Ballet’s student housing rules and curfews.

Daily transportation
by chartered bus to and from the studio is included. Students will participate in off–campus activities on the weekend, also included in the fee. Previous weekend excursions have included Braves games, The Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and Atlanta United games.

Students residing in the dorms will receive three meals per day Monday through Saturday, and brunch and dinner on Sundays when there is an off-campus activity planned. Breakfast and dinner will take place in the Georgia Tech dining hall, adjacent to the dorm building. The food hall is a collective of food stalls offering a variety of choices for every diet. A boxed or buffet lunch is served at the studio Monday through Friday. Please notify us of any food allergies.

Refund Policy

Registration/ Visa fees and deposits are non-refundable and ineligible for account credit.

If your student must withdraw for any reason, the remaining tuition and housing amounts paid after the initial deposits are eligible for refund or account credit at the discretion of the Program Director until May 1, 2026.

No refunds or credits
for tuition or housing fees will be issued for withdrawals after May 1, 2026. Tuition and housing will not be prorated for student absences or partial attendance.

Injuries:
Refunds and credits for withdrawals due to an injury suffered before the start date require a letter from the attending medical professional stating that the nature of the injury prevents participation in the program.

In the rare case that a new injury occurs during the intensive program, and the student is deemed by a medical professional as unable to continue participation, a partial tuition credit will be granted at the discretion of the Program Director. Housing fees are not eligible for a refund or credit once a student has checked into the dorm.

Advanced Summer Intensive Dress Code

Female dancers: Female students are required to wear the black Atlanta Ballet logo leotard Monday through Thursday. Fridays (except performance days) are designated theme days or leotard of your choice. Skin – tone or classic ballet pink tights and shoes are required. Shoe color must match tights.
Male dancers:
Male students are required to wear the white Atlanta Ballet logo short-sleeve shirt, black pants, white socks and white ballet shoes.
Professional program dancers:
Any appropriate dance attire of your choosing.

Uniforms may be ordered through our online boutique and picked up at the Michael C. Carlos Centre prior to or on the first day of the program. Dorm residents will receive their order upon check-in.
