Parents' Association

The Mission

The Parents' Association offers support and assistance to the Centre for Dance Education (CDE) in its purpose of training dancers. Members of the Parents' Association are parents of students enrolled in the CDE. At the time a child is enrolled, the parent automatically becomes a member. Scheduled meetings will be posted in the lobby of all studios. The Association is a great way to meet other parents, find carpools, and feel a part of Atlanta Ballet. Parents of students at all dance levels are invited, and we are open to hearing your suggestions. We have plenty of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. The Parents' Association, through its volunteer efforts, donates over $50,000 per year in support of the CDE's mission. For information, contact Kelly Cooper at kcooper@atlantaballet.com or 404.873.5811 x1225.

It's not the mission of the Parents' Association to address questions or concerns about curriculum, placement, or policies. Such questions and discussions should be directed to Dean Sharon Story at sstory@atlantaballet.com.

Parent Partnership Program

The Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education welcomes CDE parents to join our Parent Partnership Program.

With this membership, you are entitled to:

  • $10 Adult Division classes
  • $100 class cards (10 classes + 1 FREE!)

This offer is available at all three CDE locations for the school year!

Download the 2018-2019 Parent Partnership card form that you can turn into your closest studio location.

Note: If your child decides to withdraw from the CDE, your partnership will be discontinued. At this time you must pay the regular rates. In order to continue to receive this discount from year to year, you must fill out a Parent Partnership form at the beginning of each school year.
