Atlanta Ballet Boutique

The Atlanta Ballet Boutique has been serving the local dance community and helping fund Atlanta Ballet for more than 20 years. We are a full-line dancewear store for students and professional dancers with two Atlanta locations — Midtown and Buckhead. We are the exclusive retailer of all required Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education uniform leotards and men's apparel.

We also carry, tights, shoes (ballet, tap & jazz), skirts, warm-ups, hair supplies, foot care, and an extensive line of custom Atlanta Ballet logo apparel.

The Atlanta Ballet Boutiques have limited store hours scheduled around the busiest times in the Centre for Dance Education. Beginning in August 2022, we require an appointment for uniform and shoe fittings so we may allocate proper time for your student. As we only schedule one staff member in the boutique, patrons with appointments will be given priority over walk-in customers.

To request an appointment, please email us and indicate your preferred day/time and location (Midtown or Buckhead) for your fitting. We will contact you with fitting times available.

The ONLINE STORE is available 24 hours a day. Please read the instructions below to expedite your shopping experience.

  • When logging into the online store, select the Michael C Carlos location for “my store” as all orders are processed through this location. Your pickup can be either at Buckhead or Michael C Carlos (Midtown) You need to indicate your desired pickup location when you schedule your pickup.
  • For each item, please indicate the pickup location in the “special instructions” box. Also indicate pickup location in the “order notes” box on the final checkout page. The order notes box is located at the bottom right of your itemized merchandise list.
  • Your electronic receipt is confirmation of your online purchase. You will not receive any other purchase confirmation.
  • Please allow 48 hours (not including weekends or Holidays) for the order to be received, picked, and packed by boutique management.
  • You must email the boutique after your purchase to schedule an online pickup at either Buckhead or Midtown (Michael C Carlos). No merchandise is available at the Virginia-Highland Centre for purchase or pickup.
  • If you require an item immediately, you will need to come to one of the boutiques in person.
  • The online store provides pickup only; no shipping is available due to limited staffing.

In June of 2018, Atlanta Ballet joined the national Equity Project, a partnership among 21 major dance companies in the U.S. and Canada, to support the advancement of people of color in all areas of the ballet industry. Keeping in line with our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education has been working on providing a new line of products since 2018, and we are excited to announce the expansion of shoes and tights that represent all of our students and embrace the current and future generations of dancers of color.

Boutique FAQs

Can I exchange my items that I purchased online if they do not fit?
All items can be exchanged if they do not fit. Exchanges only within 15 days for unworn, non-clearance merchandise in original packaging, with original purchase receipt. Unworn shoes may be exchanged to properly fit the shoe on the dancer, using the above exchange guidelines. There will be no exchanges for worn/damaged shoes. We do not allow refunds as we are a fundraiser for the school. Please email us and advise us that you need to exchange an item and we will set up an appointment for you.
