Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Naya Yara joined Atlanta Ballet for three years and will be pursuing a career in dance.
"Atlanta Ballet has provided an environment for me, not only to grow as a dancer but as a person. I would like to thank all of my instructors for always encouraging me to be my best. I would also like to thank Dean Sharon Story for her commitment to our training, as well as our safety throughout the pandemic. I am very grateful to be part of such an amazing school and for all the opportunities Atlanta Ballet has provided. I feel prepared to take the next steps in my dance career."
