Kira has been dancing with the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education for six years and is graduating from Academy V.

“It has been an honor working alongside such talented dancers, choreographers, and faculty. I especially want to thank Ms. Abi and Mr. Lonnie for pushing me and for all of their guidance, wisdom, and support. I loved being one of their students. I have learned and gained so much during my time here. All I can say is that my experience at Atlanta Ballet was invaluable and I am so grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful school.

“Some of my favorite memories include my fellow Academy V dancers. They have truly made this experience all the more. They are always so supportive, they never fail to make me laugh, and they have simply become family now. I have so many great memories to chose from over the years, but one in particular is performing The Nutcracker at the Fox. The stress, the long rehearsals, the hard work, the laughs, the cries, and the "oohs" and "aahs," are all a part of what made The Nutcracker experience so incredible and magical for me. Every year was an amazing experience and I wouldn't have traded it for the world.

“I will be attending the University of Oklahoma on an academic and dance scholarship in the fall. #BoomerSooner! It was really hard for me to put into words how much I'm going to miss everything and everyone. I am so so grateful for all of the opportunities I was able to experience as a dancer here at Atlanta Ballet throughout the years.”
