Emily has studied at Atlanta Ballet since she was a freshman in high school. Four years later, she’s graduating from the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education Academy.
“I am so grateful for all of my wonderful teachers and friends at Atlanta Ballet for their support in helping me to grow as an artist and into the person that I am today. I want to thank everyone at Atlanta Ballet who has made coming to dance every night so special the last four years and inspired me to continue dancing and improving.
“I have made so many memories I’ll never forget! Some of my favorite memories from my time at Atlanta Ballet have been performing in The Nutcracker each year, the Nutcracker cast parties, and performing in my friend’s student choreography pieces.
“Next year I will be attending Georgia Tech! I plan on studying pre-med with a major in biochemistry and a minor in Spanish, and hope to someday go to medical school. I also plan to continue dancing through organizations at Georgia Tech and off-campus around Atlanta.”
