Division AIII

The AIII level introductory ballet classes for kids teach students beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance.

By the end of AIII Creative Movement, students will be introduced to beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance. Students are expected to attend class once per week for 1 hour. Students must be 6 years old (as of Sept. 1, 2020). All enrolled students are required to participate in Spring Concert. Rehearsals begin in class in January 2021.

Schedule and faculty subject to change based on enrollment.

HYBRID: You can choose this block as a virtual class or to attend in-person. Once you select, then that is your method of attendance for both classes throughout the semester. You cannot switch back and forth.

VIRTUAL: You will take class via a link.

IN-PERSON: You will take class in the Atlanta Ballet studio.

Registration Fee

Early (Current CDE families that register by June 1): $35
Regular (All families, May 4-Sept. 6): $50
Late (All families, after Sept. 6): $75

Spring Concert Fee:
$185 due October 25, 2020
Late Deadline:
$200 if paid by November 15, 2020

Payment Options:

1 Installment: $779 (5% discount applied)
2 Installments: $410 per installment (1st due at registration, 2nd due by January 1st)
10 Installments: $82 per installment (1st and last installments due at registration)

Dress Code

Girls: Light blue Atlanta Ballet logo short-sleeve leotard (Eurotard #1043), pink or skin tone tights, pink or skin tone ballet shoes, hair in bun (all hair décor secured)

Boys:
White Atlanta Ballet t-shirt, black shorts or tights, white socks, and black ballet shoes

Uniform leotards are exclusively available at the Atlanta Ballet Boutique. Boutiques are located in each school location. Shoes, tights, and other dance supplies are also available in the Boutique. Questions regarding the Boutique can be directed to boutique@atlantaballet.com.
