Division AIII

The AIII level introductory ballet classes for kids teach students beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance.

By the end of AIII Creative Movement, students will be introduced to beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance. Students are expected to attend class once per week for 1 hour. Students must be 6 years old (as of Sept. 1, 2019). All enrolled students are required to participate in Spring Concert. Rehearsals begin in class in January 2020.

Current CDE students may enroll for the 2019-2020 school year by clicking here.

All new students must register in person with the Centre Administrative Director at the Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre in West Midtown or the Principals at the Buckhead and Virginia-Highland Centres. Please call or email each location for available appointment times.

Registration Fee

Early (Current CDE families that register by May 5): $35
Regular (All families, May 6-Sept. 8): $50
Late (All families, after Sept. 8): $75

Spring Concert Fee:
$185 due October 27, 2019
Late Deadline:
$200 if paid by November 17, 2019

Payment Options:

1 Installment: $779 (5% discount applied)
2 Installments: $410 per installment (1st due at registration, 2nd due by January 1st)
10 Installments: $82 per installment (1st and last installments due at registration)

Dress Code

Girls: Light blue Atlanta Ballet logo short-sleeve leotard (Eurotard #1043), pink tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun (all hair décor secured)

Boys:
White Atlanta Ballet t-shirt, black shorts or tights, white socks, and black ballet shoes

Uniform leotards are exclusively available at the Atlanta Ballet Boutique. Boutiques are located in each school location. Shoes, tights, and other dance supplies are also available in the Boutique. Questions regarding the Boutique can be directed to boutique@atlantaballet.com.
