Creative Movement

Division AIII

The AIII level classes introduce students to beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance.

By the end of AIII Creative Movement, students will be introduced to beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance. Students are expected to attend class once per week for 1 hour. Students must be 6 years old (as of Sept. 1, 2018). All enrolled students are required to participate in Spring Concert. Rehearsals begin in class in February 2019.

All new students must register in person with the Centre Administrative Director at the Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre in West Midtown or the Principals at the Buckhead and Virginia-Highland Centres. Please call or email each location for available appointment times.

Registration Fee

Fall: $50 or Spring: $75

Spring Concert Fee: $185 due October 27, 2018
Late Deadline: $200 if paid by November 17, 2018

Payment Options:

1 Installment: $760 (5% discount applied)
2 Installments: $400 per installment (1st due at registration, 2nd due by January 1st)
10 Installments: $80 per installment (1st and last installments due at registration)

Dress Code

Girls: Light blue Atlanta Ballet logo short-sleeve leotard (Eurotard #1043), pink tights, and pink ballet shoes

Boys:
White Atlanta Ballet t-shirt, black shorts or tights, white socks, and black ballet shoes

Uniform leotards are exclusively available at the Atlanta Ballet Boutique. Boutiques are located in each school location. Shoes, tights, and other dance supplies are also available in the Boutique. Questions regarding the Boutique can be directed to boutique@atlantaballet.com.
