The Nutcracker Audition 2026

The Nutcracker auditions will be held on Sunday, September 13. Times will be announced soon.

Please review the information below for eligibility and procedure. Pre-registration for the audition is required; REGISTRATION LINKS TBA. For all roles except acrobats, auditionees must be a registered Centre student.

Rehearsal Expectations

Your student must attend ALL rehearsals. Further information regarding rehearsal times and schedules will be available after the audition and casting process.

Your child’s performance dates will depend on casting assignments. Details for The Nutcracker auditions will be available soon.

*If you are aware that your child cannot make any of the posted performances, please do not have them audition. There will be no excused absences this year.

*All rehearsals take place at the Michael C. Carlos Centre until we move into the theatre in December.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED. This is a TWO-STEP process.

• Register through the button link (Audition Here) when it becomes live.
• Download and complete audition form. Bring it with you, completed, to your audition.
• Due to costume restrictions, height requirements will be strictly enforced.
• No audition fee required. There is a $175 participation fee for each student cast.
• Note that there will be an additional cost for costume undergarments.
• Results will be sent via email within seven days. No phone calls or emails, please.
• Drop-off is recommended, as the parking lot will be busy and lobby capacity is limited.
• We cannot guarantee roles to all students who audition.
• Students must be of age by September 1, 2026, to audition.

Audition Attire

• Dancers: Atlanta Ballet uniform, ballet shoes
• Acrobats: leotard, appropriate shoes
• Absolutely no jewelry.
