B Level
B level dance classes for kids age 7 and older are designed around a structured classical ballet class.
BI Level
BI level dance classes for kids build upon B level training using the ballet barre.
BII Level
BII level dance classes for kids develop students' technique, vocabulary, flexibility, and coordination.
BIII Level
BIII level dance classes for kids ensure the student’s mastery of the fundamental movement methods.
BIV Level
BIV level students are promoted according to individual progress in acquiring technique and strength.
C Level
C level dance classes present the students with a more challenging vocabulary.
CI Level
CI level dance classes present the students with a more challenging vocabulary that build upon the principles of C level classes.
Boys Class
Boys’ dance classes are available to male dancers ages 6 and up. The CDE believes that these classes are essential in the development of a young male dancer’s ballet technique.
Preparatory
Preparatory level dance classes provide an introduction to ballet vocabulary and move at quick pace. These classes are designed to help escalate students’ knowledge of ballet, so they may join BIV level classes.
Pre-Pointe
A full level-appropriate ballet technique schedule at Atlanta Ballet is required in order to add a pre-pointe class. Students may advance to pre-pointe with instructor's recommendation only.
Pointe
A full level-appropriate ballet technique schedule at Atlanta Ballet is required in order to add a pointe class. Students may advance to pointe with instructor's recommendation only.
Optional Disciplines
The Centre for Dance Education offers optional discipline classes for students interested in jazz, tap, contemporary, and modern.
