Artistic Director Gennadi Nedvigin and Dean of the Centre for Dance Education Sharon Story have announced the Atlanta Ballet 2 dancers for the 2020 | 2021 Season. Ten new dancers have been invited to join eight returning dancers to train and perform with the Company as members of the top level of the Centre for Dance Education. Atlanta Ballet 2 is the highest level of the Centre and the pathway to becoming an Atlanta Ballet company member
Atlanta Ballet welcomes Severin Brotschul, Laura Gracia, Nae Kojima, Margaret Kuefler, Stephen Myers, Evelyn Robinson, Samantha Schuermann and William Woodward, along with two Centre for Dance Education Academy students promoted to Atlanta Ballet 2 – Jason McClung and Kaitlin Matree Roemer.

Dean Sharon Story is proud to also see six former members of Atlanta Ballet 2 invited to join the Company this season — Nadyne Bispo, Anastasia Cheplyanksy, María José Esquivel, Carraig New, Spencer Wetherington and Sage Wilson, all of whom have graced the stage in Yuri Possokhov’s The Nutcracker and Bruce Wells’ The Swan Princess, among others.
“The level of talent and artistry within the Company continues to become greater and greater, in large part to the increased strength of our school and Atlanta Ballet 2,” said Story. “I am so proud to see these young dancers work their way up to the Company, and look forward to seeing them continue to thrive under Gennadi’s vision and leadership.”

Dance Project, NW Dance Project, Nashville Ballet, Houston Ballet, Rockettes and Broadway.
