Join us at our Buckhead and Virginia-Highland centres for in-studio classes beginning Thursday, September 24.
All Open Division class registration is online only. Registration closes one hour before the class start time. In-studio classes are $15 for general admission, $10 for seniors/students. Classes will be social distanced and limited in capacity. Registration will close once capacity has been reached.*
You must login or create an Atlanta Ballet account with the email address we have on file in order to purchase a class. We are unable to accept registrations via phone or at the door for in-person classes.

CHRISTINE DUNN began her training at The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance in Ridgefield, Connecticut. During her training, she performed throughout the area with The Ridgefield Civic Ballet and the Contemporary Dance Ensemble. During the summer of 2007, she was a Marketing intern with American Ballet Theatre, and in 2010 she was a Development Department intern with Paul Taylor Dance Company. These experiences gave her unique insight into the behind-the-scenes work necessary to create a successful company. In 2011, she received her Bachelor of Science in dance and arts administration from Butler University. Following her studies, Christine became a main company member of Dance Theatre of Tennessee in Nashville. She danced with them for three seasons. During that time, she worked with the Roots Dance Project here in Atlanta for the 2015 Fringe Festival and fell in love with the city. She made the move to Atlanta in 2018. Currently, she is working with Zoetic Dance Ensemble’s Event Planning Committee and enjoys taking class with the company whenever possible. Christine is also a 200hr certified yoga instructor. She teaches power yoga as well as yoga sculpt classes. Christine is thrilled to bring her love of teaching to the Atlanta Ballet community.
LA’TOYA PRINCESS JACKSON is a writer, producer, performing artist, dance and music researcher, and historian on African American performance. Jackson is a recent graduate of Harvard University. With a focus in black performance studies, her specialized research is in blacks in ballet history and the black ballet aesthetic. Intersecting studies in the Harvard Dance Program, the Department of Music, and the Theater, Dance, Media department at Harvard, Jackson wrote her thesis on the history of classical black ballet companies in the United States. She worked for the Boston Ballet as teaching faculty for the Boston Ballet School in the Children’s Program. Jackson was also responsible for writing the ballet curriculum for the community programs and managing ECI on Location, a program which provided free ballet classes in Boston Public Schools and community centers throughout the city of Boston. She has created dance outreach programming and ballet curriculum for the CNG, Boys and Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, and the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. Additionally, Jackson has danced as a company member in the Harvard-Radcliffe Modern Dance Company and in the Harvard Dance Project, a faculty-led performance company at Harvard University. She wrote, produced and performed an original ballet with the support of the Office for the Arts at Harvard. Jackson holds a Master of Liberal Arts in dramatic arts degree from the Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass media arts (radio/TV/film) from Clark Atlanta University.
