Tiny Dancer and Me
The Tiny Dancer and Me class is designed for 2 year-olds (as of Sept. 1, 2023) and an accompanying adult. This dance class introduces the young student to locomotive movement and music.
Division A - age 3
The A level Creative Movement dance classes for kids combine stories and music in a child-friendly setting, which helps students develop body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and confidence.
Division AI - age 4
The AI level dance classes combine stories and music in a child-friendly setting, continuing student development of body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and confidence.
Division AII - age 5
The AII level dance classes for kids combine movement and music to help students develop body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and confidence while learning ballet vocabulary.
Division AIII - age 6
The AIII level introductory ballet classes for kids teach students beginning ballet steps, terminology, and the basics of dance.
Division AIV - age 7
AIV level students will have a structured ballet class focusing on proper posture, technique, and vocabulary.
Boys Class
Boys’ dance classes are available to male dancers ages 5 and up in the Student Division. The CDE believes that these classes are essential in the development of a young male dancer’s ballet technique.
