• Pre-Professional Division

    Build a career in professional dance

Advanced students may audition for the Pre-Professional Division, an intense program designed for students who wish to pursue a career in professional dance. With up to five hours of required daily classes, Pre-Professional students practice classical and contemporary ballet, pointe, adagio, modern, and jazz. They may rehearse with Atlanta Ballet’s professional company, learn repertory, and possibly perform on stage at the Fabulous Fox Theatre and Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. Pre-Professional Division classes are offered at the Aspirant, Elite, Premiere, Conservatory and Fellowship levels.

Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance (NASD).

Aspirant

With up to five hours of required daily classes, Aspirant level students practice classical and contemporary ballet, pointe, adagio, modern, and jazz.

Elite

With up to five hours of required daily classes, Elite level students practice classical and contemporary ballet, pointe, adagio, modern, and jazz.

Premiere

With up to five hours of required daily classes, Premiere level students practice classical and contemporary ballet, pointe, adagio, modern, and jazz.

Conservatory

The Conservatory Program gives young dancers the opportunity to develop in a nurturing atmosphere that will groom them to become professional dancers.

Fellowship

The Fellowship Program was created with a mission to give young dancers the opportunity to realize their place in the community as artists and mentors.
