About Kids In Step

Over 20,000 children a year witness the enchantment of Atlanta Ballet through Kids In Step.

Kids and teens of all ages can experience an abbreviated performance and a special behind-the-scenes look at the magic of backstage. Throughout the years, children have been mesmerized by such programs as Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Cinderella.

The generosity of our sponsors allows Atlanta Ballet to present these abbreviated productions at a minimal cost to schools and student groups. Teachers receive educational materials prior to the performance describing the components of the production, which they can use to formulate lesson plans or facilitate class discussions.
