Kids In Step

Over 20,000 children a year witness the enchantment of Atlanta Ballet through Kids In Step. Scores and scores of buses drop the children off in front of the Cobb Energy Centre or the Fox Theatre and, once they pass through the threshold, they are transported into an enchanted world. Children experience an abbreviated performance and a special behind-the-scenes look at the magic of backstage. Throughout the years, children have been mesmerized by such programs as Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker, Alice In Wonderland, Peter Pan, and Cinderella. The generosity of our sponsors allows Atlanta Ballet to present these abbreviated productions at a minimal cost to the schools. Teachers receive educational materials prior to the performance describing the components of the production.
